Over thirty years, the owner of the policy would pay $1,775,700 in premiums (close to $60,000/year).  With this in mind, the beneficiary would not receive an Economic Benefit of $6mm, but rather $4,224,300 and only if the insured were to pass before the 30th anniversary of the policy.  This is not to mention the yearly effect felt to one’s income by paying $60,000/per year (plus gift tax).
